  I had the windshield on my Tahoe replaced at the Vancouver location for MS glass. During the installation, there was a crack put in my dashboard. However, due to the location of the crack, it was not easily visible from the drivers seat. I noticed the crack when sitting in the passenger seat for the first time since the windshield installation was completed. Upon examining the dashboard, you could tell that glue was placed around the crack in an obvious attempt to repair it. Yet, we were never told of the crack or repair attempt.
  
  When we noticed the cracked dashboard, we immediately called MS glass and were told to bring it in the next day. We did as requested and Sue took pictures of the damage to "email to the owner" who was out of town. We waited roughly a week with no answer and then we called back. I was told that they were waiting for corporate to get back to them on how to address it. Sue called back and informed me that she was looking for someone that could repair it, but was having problems finding someone that would return her calls or that could repair it.
  
  I called Sue once again after 3 weeks and asked to get something in writing, so that I would have a guarantee to bring the vehicle to the condition it was before the damage. She said she couldn't do that. Shortly after that conversation, a man named Chris called me. He said he worked at the Beaverton store and would be helping me from this point. He asked for the VIN and some pictures. He said the VIN was needed to verify the color code for the dash. He wanted to make sure he would be able to find a replacement if needed. Then I heard nothing from him for another week. I called him back and he said that the owner was now out of the country for a few weeks. At this point, I called my insurance company to try and get something accomplished. They called and talked to a few people at MS Glass and thought things were on the way to being corrected. The next day Chris called me and said he had found someone that could repair it. I asked him for the business info and then called them myself. The owner of the business said that the repair would be noticeable and would crack again over time. Kudos to him for the integrity.
  
  When I called Chris back he said that he was frustrated, because he was having a difficult time finding someone to replace it. Then told me that he had found someone, but now it wouldn't work because I wanted to a guarantee on the repair that it would look like it did before the crack and that it would not crack again. Chris mentioned that they would be able to replace my dash in their shop if that is what it came too. I voiced my concerns about that (seeing as they are a glass company and not an auto body shop) and he wasn't happy about it. I also requested a written correspondence from MS glass that they admit fault and will fix the issue. Chris refused and said that is something they don't do. I asked him if I was the one who cracked it and he responded no after some hesitation.
  
  Today, we sit here with a broken dashboard and absolutely no plan in place by MS glass to fix their mistake. Surely, there must be insurance held by the business to handle such situations. So why are we having a difficult time getting MS glass to turn the claim over to their insurance and fix the issue? The only thing we have ever requested was to have our dashboard in the same like new condition it was upon bringing it in for a windshield replacement. That is a reasonable request.
